What is AI voicemail?+

It's an automated assistant that answers when you can't. Instead of a beep, the caller hears a natural voice that asks what they need and takes their name and number. You then get the details by email.

Is AI voicemail the same as an AI receptionist?+

They overlap. AI voicemail steps in only when you don't answer or are busy. An AI receptionist can also answer all your calls, or calls out of hours. BrightRay's service can do either, depending on how you divert your number.

Can I keep my existing number?+

Yes. You set your phone to divert to the number we give you when you don't answer or are busy. Most UK networks allow this, and our call divert guides show the steps for each network.

Will callers know it's AI?+

Yes. The assistant introduces itself as an automated assistant for your business and tells the caller the call is recorded before recording starts.

Can callers still leave a normal message?+

Yes. If a caller would rather just leave a message, they can, and you still get the recording and transcript by email.

What won't it do?+

It doesn't make calls, agree prices or dates on your behalf, or put the caller through to you live. It takes the details and passes them to you, and you ring the customer back.
