Electrician website design — websites for electricians from £500

A good electrician website costs £500 with BrightRay, fixed, and goes live in about 7 days. It shows your registration (NICEIC, NAPIT or SELECT) where customers look first, gives each kind of electrical work its own page — rewires, fuse board upgrades, EICRs, EV chargers — and lets a customer on a phone call you in one tap.

Add an AI voice assistant

Missed calls are missed jobs.

Alongside your website, we can set up an AI voice assistant for electricians: an AI receptionist and smart voicemail in one. Divert your mobile and it answers 24/7 in a natural, clear voice, takes the caller’s details and emails you a summary straight away, then the call recording and the transcript, so a caller never gets a beep and goes to someone else. Ideal for answering calls when you’re on a job. Press play to hear a scripted sample call.

How the BrightRay AI receptionist works, in 5 steps

A caller rings your number, the AI receptionist answers and takes their details, and you get a branded email with a summary, then the recording as an audio attachment and the transcript, and call them back.

AI receptionist
Good evening, thank you for calling Northgate Electrical. You're through to the automated assistant. How can I help you today?
Caller
Hi, half the sockets in my kitchen have just gone off and the trip switch won't stay up.
AI receptionist
I'm sorry, that sounds stressful. Can I check first, is there any burning smell, smoke or sparking?
Caller
No, nothing like that. It just keeps tripping.
AI receptionist
Thank you. Please leave that circuit switched off for now. Can I take your name, your postcode and the best number to reach you?
Caller
It's Mark, G sixty-one, and this number's fine.
AI receptionist
Thanks, Mark. I've marked this as urgent and passed it straight to the on-call electrician, who'll ring you back on this number shortly. Is there anything else I can help with?
Caller
No, that's great, thanks.
AI receptionist
You're welcome. Speak soon.

Ring 0141 461 4870 to talk to our AI receptionist. It’ll take your details and we’ll call you back.

Questions

Asked and answered.

How much does an electrician website cost?+

£500, fixed, for the Essential package: up to 5 custom-designed pages, click-to-call, WhatsApp, a contact form and Google Business Profile setup, live in about 7 days. The £950 Growth package gives you up to 10 pages, enough for a separate page for each service and each main town you cover.

What should an electrician website include?+

Five things: your registration (NICEIC, NAPIT, or SELECT in Scotland) and insurance near the top; the jobs you do, named the way customers search (EICR, consumer unit upgrade, rewire, EV charger installation); the towns you cover, by name; real photos of your own work; and a phone number that calls in one tap.

Can my website show my NICEIC or NAPIT registration?+

Yes, and it should. We show the scheme logo only if you are registered, and link it to the scheme's public register so customers can check you in a click. That check is often what wins the job over an unregistered competitor.

Will a website help me get EICR and EV charger work?+

It gives you the chance to. Landlords searching for an EICR and homeowners searching for an EV charger installer type those exact words, so a page for each service, naming your towns, gives Google something specific to rank. A single "services" page rarely ranks for either.

I get most work from referrals. Do I still need a website?+

Usually yes. People who are referred to you still look you up before they call, and a credible site with your registration and real photos is what turns that check into a phone call. It also catches the customers who search instead of asking around.

Do you build electrician websites across the UK?+

Yes. BrightRay builds electrician websites across the UK and Ireland. Everything is done by phone, WhatsApp and email, so it doesn't matter where you are based.
