A website that stays current
Bruntsfield Primary Football is a volunteer-led football programme for children at Bruntsfield Primary School in Edinburgh, run by parents. Today we launched its new website at www.bpsfootball.org.uk.
Like most volunteer-run groups, the club needed a site that stays current without anyone becoming "the website person". So the club can send us updates, and we keep the site up to date.
What's on the new site
- News from the club, so parents can see what's happening
- Festivals and events, with dates and venues in one place
- Tournament pages that link straight to live scores and schedules on Tournify
- Saturday bookings through the club's existing Class for Kids page
- Coaches and community pages, including how to get involved as a volunteer
It's built to work well on phones, so parents can check what's on wherever they are.
Kept up to date for the club
The club can send us news and event updates, and we keep the site up to date. No code, no logins to remember, and nothing to break.
For a volunteer-run club, that matters. Volunteers can spend their time on the football, not the website.
Built with care for children's photos
A children's club website has to handle photos properly. On this site:
- a photo only goes live once photo consent is confirmed
- location data is removed from every photo before it is published
- sponsors and partners only appear once they have agreed to be listed
These checks are built into how the site is published, rather than left to someone remembering.
Have a look
You can see the site at www.bpsfootball.org.uk, and there's a short summary of what we built in the recent work section on our homepage.
If you run a school club, charity or community group, our page on websites for charities and community groups explains how we work with volunteer-run organisations. If you're looking for funding, our guide to grants for charity and community websites is a good place to start.
Tell us how your group works and we'll suggest a simple setup that fits your volunteers, not the other way round.
Websites and an AI voice assistant for small businesses.
A website that brings in enquiries, set up for Google and AI search, plus an AI voice assistant (AI receptionist and smart voicemail) that answers the calls you miss.
Website + AI voice assistant
Your website brings in the calls and the AI voice assistant answers them, 24/7. We set up both for you.
Ring 0141 461 4870 to talk to our AI receptionist. It’ll take your details and we’ll call you back.
Asked and answered.
